There may well be a new name on the ladies’ winner’s trophy next month (January) when thousands of runners take to the streets of Dubai for the 2011 Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon.

Chicago Marathon 2008 winner Evans Cheruiyot is the latest big name runner to commit himself to the 2011 Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon, which will take place in the emirate on January 21.

Runners competing in the 2011 Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon will once again rub shoulders with the running elite on a new starting line for the biggest running event in the region.
