Several of Dubai’s main roads and thoroughfares will close for several hours when more than 20,000 athletes take to the streets for the 2014 Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon on Friday (January 24).

While online registration has closed, runners who would still like to take part in Friday’s Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon or 10Km Road Race and who have not yet registered can do so in person from Tuesday (January 21) at the Al Johara Ballroom, Madinat Jumeirah.

Three years after making his debut at the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon, Britain’s Alex Flynn will finally bring to an emotional close his 10 Million Metre challenge when he competes in the 2014 event on January 24.
